14 Thursday March 11th - Wednesday March 17th, 2010 Read this newspaper online at www.basingstokeobserver Cavity Wall or Loft Insulation FREE or only 149 ANYONE Reading this advert can qualify for the scheme- just call 08000 588758 or email us jamesenergysurveyors.p in order to discuss your situation HOME INSULATION GRANTS NOW AVAILABLE I write to inform you of existing grant funding still available in your council area under the Governments Carbon Emission Reduction Target (CERT) scheme. Councils are working closely with Mark Group to substantially increase the number of well insulated homes in the area by offering a range of grants and discounts for loft and cavity wall insulation to owner occupied and privately rented properties. Having your home properly insulated will conserve energy and will save you money on your heating bills (this can be as much as 60*) and it will benefit the environment. The grant funding is allocated on a first come, first served basis; however, with energy prices rising and more extreme weather predicted for the whole of the UK, demand is set to be high. Even if you already have some insulation it may not be sufficient as the recommended building standards for loft insulation is now 270mm (over 10 inches!) IF YOU DO NOT QUALIFY FOR FREE INSULATION WE CAN STILL INSULATE YOUR LOFT FOR 149 OR YOUR CAVITY WALLS FOR 149. BENEFITS OF GREEN HOMES Completely free insulation for those in receipt of the certain qualifying benefits. Grants available for all householders even if you have a work or private pension Privately rented properties are eligible with landlords permission Approved and quality assured locally based contractor Prevent up to 2 tonnes of CO 2 being produced every year cavity Wall Insulation comes with a 25 year Government backed guarantee INCLUDED IN THE 149 The surveyor will fill in the form for you, the Mark Group will install, no fuss FREE INSULATION If you are in receipt of one of the following qualifying benefits you will be eligible for free insulation. Council Tax Benefit Housing Benefit Income Support Income Based Job Seekers Allowance State Pension Credit Child Tax Credit where the relevant income is 16,040 or less Working Tax Credit where the relevant income is 16,040 or less Attendance Allowance War Disablement Pension (which includes either a mobility supplement or constant attendance allowance) Disability Living Allowance Disablement Pension which includes constant attendance allowance DISCOUNTED INSULATION ONLY 149 If you are not in receipt of a qualifying benefit, grants are still available. FOR A FREE SURVEY PHONE 08000 588758 OR 07535669990 We have arranged for a Green Homes surveyor to call at your home in the next couple of days. The surveyor will be on hand to offer you energy saving advice and explain in more detail about what you qualify for under this scheme. Should you wish to take up this offer and have insulation installed, a survey can be carried out there and then. The surveyor will carry out a short assessment of your property and will be able to offer advice regarding the installation process and answer any questions you may have. *Demand is currently high, therefore we may not visit every home. If you want to have a free survey carried out or have technical questions please phone 0800 0 588758 MONDAY to SATURDAY 8:30 am 8.00 pm. Please ensure you ask the surveyor to produce their identification cards prior to allowing them access to your home. A list of surveyors is held by most councilsand therefore you may wish to check they are bona fide by phoning your council. jamesenergysurveyors.p * Information sourced from the Energy Saving Trust, a government body. This scheme is not applicable for Local Authority or Housing Association tenants. Surveys will be undertaken by Nationwide Energy Services (NES) for and on behalf of Mark Group.
